A fire in the Lake Independence area on Aloe Vera Street on Saturday consumed a home and all its contents. Luckily, reports say that a baby that was inside was saved from the fire. It happened just after midday and ACP Hilberto Romero shared further details today.

"On Saturday The 12th day of August 2023, there was a fire on Aloe Vera Street. Jerome Castillo reported that he went to purchase food and left his daughter at home, and when he returned ten minutes after he saw that the house was engulfed in flames. The fire department responded, police responded and the building was completely destroyed by fire. An investigation is being carried out into this fire."
