Also appearing in the Belmopan court today was a man named Brady Tillett. The 26 year old is accused of possession of unlicensed ammunition - specifically one round of.223 ammunition.
He was remanded for a month and then re-appeared today in a routine adjournment.
Tillett says the round was planted by the Gi3 when they searched his Camalote home in the pre-dawn hours of September 16th. But, he says that was just a distraction: he says the cops were really after his three cell phones - which he says is loaded with information that can incriminate senior officers in seriously shady business. Here's part one of our conversation with him today - where he asked to conceal his face:

"So they found this single round, which you say was planted. So what were they after? Were they, sometimes in a plant round It's because they want to detain somebody. But what were they after?"

"Well, basically what they were after, they were after my cell phones. Me and a certain senior officers are very good friends. Well, I think were very good friend. Now, the whole issue is he feels like I am leaking anything to the media with certain illegal activities they were doing."
"I don't want to be part of that. I didn't leak anything. And I'm backing off from them and realizing by backing off from them, they want to trap me now. You know."

"What is the nature of the relationship that you enjoyed with these senior officers?"

"Well, basically I sell vehicles for them. Also, I do AC work. I do anything in that sense, electrical, construction work for them. You know, we are very good friends, I would say. But realizing now the type of people who I am dealing with, they will push anybody underneath the bus, anybody."

"Clearly they felt that information on your phone could compromise them."

"Well, certain information on my phone that I have with them is a lot of illegal activity. You know."
