Just before 11:00 On Tuesday morning, police conducted a search inside a Vista Del Mar home owned by 63 year old Naturalized Belizean, Phillip Kewley.
They found that the retiree had 2.9 pounds of Marijuana stashed inside a safe. Kewley was taken into custody and charged for one count of drug trafficking, and appeared in court today to answer to the charges of his first drug related offense.
He pleaded guilty to the charge of trafficking 1.3. kilos of cannabis and was fined $3,000 which he must pay by January 31st 2024 or face 1 year imprisonment in default.
