Tonight the focus for police is the arrest of main suspect Christian Espat - who is still wanted. His alleged accomplice Michael Brown turned himself in yesterday.
As we told you last night, Espat has been a named suspect before in multiple high profile murders, but he was not charged for any of them.
And, now, as reports say he will hand himself into police tomorrow - many are asking if the police do have enough evidence to charge him this time?
Espat, as we reported, said he was in Chetumal at the time getting a brain scan because police - he alleges - beat him up then week before.
Today, the Minister of Home Affairs commented on this suspects troubled history:
Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs

"I do not know the gentleman I do not wish to know the gentleman, but like you, rightly pointed out there is a long history there and there are several families in San Pedro who have historically been engaged, I think there are three or four notorious families engaged in this Playador lifestyle in this drug activity and it's not just in the last 10 years, we are talking about at least 20 years that these families have been involved. That particular individual I believe his entire family was wiped out, Espat if I'm not mistaken a lot of his family members were in fact killed because of this very drug trade. And saw that certainly is what I do know of the family but that is something that definitely is a serious concern that we have to apply greater pressure. We did put a police booth up north San Pedro a few months ago I think 10 months ago and we do have a greater police presence along the beaches in North San Pedro what again it's such a large area to cover and in fact, that is something that we are going to be addressing."
As Musa noted, many from the Espat family have died in violent incidents on the island. Rolando Espat Sr, has lost four sons: Charlie - who was found in a shallow grave in Orange Walk with his cousin, Daniel Alamilla; Byron Espat, who was stabbed to death inside a club; Rolando Espat Jr, who was fatally shot close to his home; and little Daniel Espat, a 2-year-old killed while sleeping. Another relative by marriage, Edwardo Gutierrez was also a victim in a triple homicide.
