Tonight, one of the men responsible for that daring armed robbery in La Democracia has been remanded. He is 25 year old Evander Usher, who was taken to court this afternoon and read a single charge of robbery. He pleaded not guilty and told the magistrate that he doesn't know the other accused, Shemar Brakeman who was arrested and charged earlier this week.
Both men are accused of stealing $3,300 worth of items from the store. Usher and Brakeman are set to re-appear in court on December 28th. A third person still remains at large.
Last Friday night, Angie Carillo and her young child were in K and S Store in La Democracia when three masked men forced their way in and stole a number of items. While Carillo and her young child were unharmed, her family was quite shaken up.
