It may have been wrapped in pink, but what police found inside a New Road home this morning was still a deadly weapon.

A search this morning at 122 New Road led police to a room occupied by 19 year old Jaheem Morris and Kimara Carrillo. Police found a drawstring bag with a loaded nine millimeter pistol inside. The pistol also had a serial number - which police can now check in their system.

Morris and Carrillo were arrested and jointly charged for Kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license.
