And while they're holding down the number of murders, police are also hoping to increase the number of convictions. And that is why so much attention had been paid to the Hildebrand Codd case - the accused in the murder of Densmore Bowman. But, on the day he was supposed to get his verdict, he escaped from lax police officers.

But at the same time we again appeal to the public if they have any information in respect to his whereabouts to please feel free to call us or provide information to the 922 tips number or app and we'll be able to respond."

"As the media have been cautioning people we advise that if you know where he is do not approach he may be considered to be armed and dangerous."
