And while there was one murder reported over the weekend, a man in Caye Caulker escaped death after he was chopped. However, at this point, the cops have no leads as to who could have done it.

"Police responded to a chopping incident in Caye Caulker Village. Upon the arrival they saw one Tito Rosado, 37 years, with chop wounds. He was taken to the Caye Caulker Polyclnic and thereafter taken to the KHMH for treatment. He is now listed in a stable condition at the KHMH, investigation into this matter continues and we await for him to recover fully so that he can be interviewed. No motive at this time."
