And once the trial begins, we'll see if the DPP's streak will continue. She successfully argued three major cases this week, including the trial against Anke Doehm. Doehm was found guilty of cruelty to a child on Monday. She was represented by the same attorney representing Selgado - retired judge Adolph Lucas.
And today Cheryl Lynn Vidal told us that there may be more charges in store for her.

"Anke Doehm was convicted on Monday of cruelty of a child. Unfortunately during the course of preparing for that case and prosecuting that case, a lot more came to light and it may be that further action may be taken against her in the coming months, it may be."

"Is your office looking for the maximum penalty of sentencing in this case?"

"I don't think in this circumstances she will get the maximum penalty but we're certainly looking to a custodial sentence."
