And if there is room for any more doubt Galvez says that he has no problem with counting for a third time if the opposition calls for it, no matter how ridiculous he thinks it is.

Carlos "Obeah" Galvez, PUP Mayoral elect

"What happened is that we were already winning, but my killer instinct always drives me to see never give up your vote. You argue for that vote even if you're at 90 and you have 10 questionable ballots you want to win all those ballots so you want to give your opponent a whipping so the idea is to argue for the ballot so your numbers go up your numbers increase and like I said at the UDP impression I don't know what gave them that impression that at some point they were leading I believe totally they were misled. My thought on that I was physically in the room and I was checking all the different boxes and there was never a moment that we were down. I said when we started, we jumped to almost 90 and we kept and maintained our lead."

"What's your thoughts on the oppositions call for a recount there in PG does it any at all concern you?"

Carlos "Obeah" Galvez, PUP Mayoral elect
"No, that would never that would never concern me, but that's just ridiculous. I don't see why we did a recount that night twice. I don't know why you would want to go a third time maybe if you go a third time the numbers would increase for us so you know that's a waste of time."

The Leader of the Opposition has said he will challenge the final count.
