
Three people are stable after yesterday's accident in Ladyville Village.
Police say that their 2021 Nissan Frontier, driven by Constable Nathaniel Perera was traveling between miles 9 and 10 when a Mazda Tribute, traveling in the opposite direction, swerved on the road and collided with his vehicle.
Two police officers were trapped inside. The officers were identified as Police Constables Nathaniel Perera and Anfernee Nunez. The driver of the 2008 Tribute, Winston Augustine complained of pain in his body.
The two police officers were removed from their vehicle and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, along with Augustine, for medical treatment.
