Burglary Captured On Surveillance Cameras

Surveillance footage captured a burglary that took place last night at Encore Enterprise in the Orange Walk District. The manager told police that when he arrived at 6 the morning, he noticed that the two padlocks normally on the door were broken off.

The surveillance camera inside the store shows a man searching the desk drawers, presumably for money. He then takes his flashlight behind the shelves. Another man eventually enters the store and begins searching as well.

It seems that the men did not find any cash, because one of them takes two weedwackers, valued at $500 each, off their racks. The men also stole 1 compressor and 6 drills. The total cost of the stolen items amounted to $2,833.

Police are investigating.
