Man Charged for Killing Shopkeeper

More than a month after 33 year old Cruz Magana was shot and killed inside his family's shop during a robbery in Fresh Pond village, the accused robber turned killer was charged for the crimes of murder and robbery today.

He is 21 year old Robert Arnold - believed to be 1 out of the 2 men who attempted to rob Magana's shop on June 3rd, fatally shooting Magana who was relaxing inside the store the night the incident occurred.
