Three years after he was murdered by his girlfriend's ex common law on Christmas Eve, the family of 23 year old Namid Mesh may be one step closer to justice. His accused killer Jorge Triminio pleaded guilty to manslaughter today in court. Triminio had been charged with murder but pleaded down to the lesser offense of manslaughter.

On Christmas Eve 2021, Triminio entered the home of his ex, 25 year old Linda Vigil. After getting into an altercation with him, she left and went to the Seine Bight police station to make a report.

She then later met her new boyfriend Mesh and they went back to her house together only to encounter Triminio for a second time.

Mesh then got into a physical altercation with Triminio who fatally stabbed him nine times. Both men had worked together at Naia resort.

Triminio has now been sentenced to 14 years in jail for manslaughter.
