A few days after he was murdered in the Yarborough community, police have made progress in the investigation into the murder of 51 year old Mark Francisco. The Compol gave us an update yesterday.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"In respect to the murder of Mark Francisco again the investigators have been extremely busy the same team that I had put together following the SOE under the command of Mr Dawson they have been extremely busy not just with the Francisco case but many other murder cases and I am pleased to say that they have made significant progress in the mark Francisco murder. The two suspects are now in custody the vehicle used in that murder is also in the custody of police and I expect that charges will be filed against those two individuals by tomorrow."
Reporter-
"A motive even though Mr Francisco was not the current intended target?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"We don't believe that he was the intended target we believe somewhat that those individuals were lurking in that area for anybody who they believe may have some time to SSG but again I re-emphasize the point that Mr Francisco is not to be involved in any gang activity."
