Man Dies In Morning Collision in Corozal

A collision on the George Price Highway in the Corozal District this morning claimed the life of a driver was southbound, heading towards Orange Walk in a Toyota Tacoma. That's when a jeep being driven by Marcos Villanueva entered his lane causing the accident. The deceased, 61 year old Jesus Chicas succumbed at the scene. Villanueva was taken to the Northern regional hospital for treatment.

The uncle of the deceased says that he does not believe his nephew was driving at high speeds when the accident happened.
