Police On High Alert As Ellis Meighan Taken To Court

He was deported from ICE detention in the US on Tuesday, and tonight Ellis Meighan is at the Hattieville prison on remand for murder.

Under heavy security - which included blocking traffic to secure the court perimeter Police took him to court this morning where he was arraigned for murder, attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and dangerous harm

He was remanded to Prison until November 6th. He is accused of killing Roy Lee Burgess and shooting Maia James in the head.
