Mennonites Who Logged In Boston Face Criminal Charges

And, in other news from the Forestry Department, we have an update on the illegal logging in Boston Village that we told you about in August. On September 30th, Eric Fehr and Jacob Weins appeared in the Orange Walk Magistrate's Court and were charged with unlawful possession of forest produce. They pleaded not guilty, and received bail under the directive that they cannot interfere with the chairman of Boston Village or go anywhere near the logs which were confiscated in the village.

The case continues on November fourth - when disclosure will be made.
