Working Man Murdered, Was He Target Of Random Gang Violence?

And there was another murder in the city last night - taking this week's count up to 4. It happened on Nurse Findley Crescent just before 11:00. 37 year old Ricardo Escobar was on Nurse Findlay Crescent - not far from his Gill Street residence - when he was approached by a gunman who fired several shots, all hitting him in the back.

His family told us off camera that to their knowledge, Escobar had no enemies and they are not sure why he was targeted.

Escobar was a working man - known to be employed at Nexgen. Sources tell us that he may have been innocently targeted in a gang rivalry which just wanted to claim a victim off Nurse Findlay Crescent, and he may have been the first person the gunman saw.
