And now we hear from police.
Given the area and time at which the fatal robbery occurred, police have retrieved useful surveillance videos from surrounding homes and businesses near the scene. ASP Stacy Smith gave us an update on the investigation this evening.
ASP Stacy Smith, Police Staff Officer
"So far in this investigation police have made some progress there are persons in detention and as more information is gathered that will be shared with the public. The indication suggests that the motive in this incident was indeed a robbery. The information that I have shared is the extent to which the investigation has suggested and what I will say also as a part of this investigation footages are being retrieved from all surrounding areas and those footages have been of useful help to the investigation. What I will say though that indeed the individuals who were on the cycle they wore helmets and they were covered with long sleeve clothing when this incident occurred."
