He rose to the greatest of heights in the pantheon of Punta Rock music but, 43 year old Daniel Cacho, the artist known as Lovabwai returned home today in shame as a deportee - after serving a two and a half year sentence in the US for a felony crime. After serving his time, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Seattle arrested him due to multiple prior felony convictions and multiple allegations of child molestation/rape.
He was returned to Belize today on a commercial flight escorted by a Us Marshall. Separately a deportation flight with 15 other deported Belizeans also landed today.
