That stretch of Princess Margaret Drive from A Street to the Princess is known as "the strip" - where young people in fancy cars and motorcycles go to be seen.
Last night, it was quite a scene when a Mazda Miata convertible was caught on camera by attorney Audrey Matura doing donuts at the junction with Baymen Avenue.
It's on the long list of illegal activities that occur on that strip and the area rep said he's determined to do something about it:
Kareem Musa, Area Rep., Caribbean Shores
"I saw it this morning and I immediately messaged the Commissioner of police and I said, please see to it as possible, this is a violation of many different road traffic laws. That individual obviously driving without due care and attention should be charged, and not just with that offense, but other offenses. You're endangering the lives of the public. That is unacceptable. And so I reached out to the commissioner to ask him to see who that was and see if they could be charged."
Courtney Menzies:
"But regarding the other illegal activities that may be happening along that stretch, especially as it relates to."

Kareem Musa, Area Rep., Caribbean Shores
"What are you referring to?"
Courtney Menzies:
"Well, you know, noise, alcohol consumption in public, these things that we know are happening. Do you find that it's a lack of enforcement by either the police department or the city council?"
Kareem Musa, Area Rep., Caribbean Shores
"I think that argument could be made. I know that for my part, whenever we do get concerns, like in our neighborhood watch chat group, I know I make it a point as area representative to follow up with the police officers who are working in the area at that given time to see if it is that they can go on enforce, and many times they do. But by the time they get there, two people have dispersed, almost as though somebody informed them, but at the end of the day, you know, it's enforcement, but it requires us, as members of the public to report situations because the police and the city council wardens cannot be everywhere all at once. And so we have a duty as citizens as well, to report any sign of wrongdoing."
