A 34-member ensemble of U.S. college students is in the country to treat Belizeans to choir music.
The choir hails from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. With the ability to perform a large variety of musical selections, a couple members of the choir told us that they expect to rock the Belizean audiences.
Choir Member,
"We are here to experience some of the culture and to perform. We have a variety of music we like to perform, some different genres, some soul tunes, and a couple of spirituals. And we just want to show a variety of the music we have in America to the locals."
"It ranges from pop music to salsa, it is a lot of fun and a lot energy. We like to get the audience involved and have a lot of fun."
There will be three performances in Orange Walk on March 5th, in Belmopan on March 6th and on the 7th in Belize City.
