Fish stores are notorious for wild exaggerations - but tonight one fisherman doesn't need to overstate the facts because he's got the proof.
Colin Tucker and some friends were fishing about 200 yards off the coast of the city near the Government House when he reeled in a 200-pound jewfish.
Colin Tucker, Big Catch
"I went out there like a few hours for a little fishing and things like that. I was catching little small fish and sent out my big line and after a little while I felt my line moving and I held it. I then started to drag it in and after an hour and a half of fighting it came to the top. When I saw him I just decided to wait for him to give up. Then after that my friends and me saw it and we tried it to get in boat. But it was giving a lot of trouble with the rope. It tried to get the rope from though its mouth and then we couldn't get him in the boat. So then me and friends held him by his gill and hauled him inside the boat and then a few hours later I kissed him and all right because I was so happy..."
Keith Swift,
"...You kissed the fish?"
Colin Tucker,
"I kissed the fish because I was so happy that I had caught him right."
Keith Swift,
"You already kissed it so will you name it?."
Colin Tucker,
"Well I won't name it or stuff like that. It's just a jewfish you all can say at this moment. That's all."
Tucker says he will fillet all 200 pounds and sell it.
