Most know him for his timeless sculptures, but when Stephen Okeke isn't sculpting, he is writing about vast, practical philosophies. And you can't doubt his ambition: Okeke's new book is about how to solve every problem, everyday. While the title sounds like an episode of the Dr. Phil show, Okeke says there are no quick fixes, no 12 step program to join, no pills you can buy, or doctor you can see to solve your problems. Instead Okeke says to solve problems all you need to know is that the solution is based on principle and not size. What exactly does that mean? The sculptor turned self-help guru visited our studios to explain his theory and tell us why this is the book the world has been waiting for.

Stephen Okeke, Author
"The new book on how to solve every problem everyday is what I would say is a book the world has been waiting for; not just Belize but the whole world has been waiting for this. It's a book that takes you step by step into how to solve everyday problems. In fact, some people say it is like magic. How can I say everybody can solve everyday problems everyday? But I say it's possible because the solvability of any problem in life depends on principle not on size. So if you understand the principle you can use that to solve a $10 problem and you can use the same principle with modifications to solve a $100,000 problem."

Keith Swift,
Your first solution to solving problems is to not do anything.

Stephen Okeke,
"Certainly. When something happens suddenly to you…if you were in love and someone suddenly tells you I don't love you the first thing to do is don't do anything. Then the next thing to do is think. And these are basic principles which I outlined in the book so if you look through the book and catch those basic principles life will be more enjoyable. That is what I intended to do here, to break down those the bigger things, to the break those high problems we have been going across and break them into fundamental principles so that everybody can read and understand."

Keith Swift,
For the man who just got laid off and he has five hungry kids at home…what should he do? Are there answers in this book?

Stephen Okeke,
"Sure the first thing to do is don't do anything. Go home sit down, take a cup of water and relax. Relax because things might not be as bad as they seem. First of all take your time and think before you react, before you blame people or blame things or become revengeful or bitter. Take your time, relax, and think."

"How to solve every problem, everyday" is now in bookstores countrywide. Okeke has also simultaneously released a collection of 59 poems titled "To dance my Dance." Both books retail for $25 each. Okeke can be found on the internet at sculptgentech.com
