Earlier in this newscast we told you about Terryl Godoy's fight to save his home in the Port Loyola area. While Godoy is working to save his house from big money developers, he is also still the man at work, the ubiquitous street artist. For the first time in nearly 4 years Godoy has launched an exhibition of his work at the House of Culture. A lot has changed in his life as Godoy is now a family man with a wife and a child, which he says has taught him how to appreciate the simpler things in life like the character-rich houses around the city. He told us more.

Terryl Godoy, Artist
“As an artist I just feel the call to paint these homes. You can just look at them and it tells a story by itself the colonial built that these houses have. You can just feel the story. Other people might just pass on the street and just pass these houses but for me I feel it so I just look at it and paint it.”

The exhibition runs until September 27th at the House of Culture on Regent Street.
