Earlier in this newscast, we heard from some merchants who said that this isn't their best christmas and things have been better. Well that is also the word on the street depending on who you talk to. Today we asked "how the Christmas is coming" and for some it is coming good, others aren't seeing it, and for some it is not what you have on that day but we start with Collet area representative Patrick Faber who was today buying toys for children in his division. Faber gave a grim forecast for a bruk Christmas.

Patrick Faber,
"This year we are seeing that many people really don't have any ham, any turkey, or any kind of Marley, and no kind of work is being done to any of their houses especially in the poorer areas behind Gwen Liz and so on. Many people really don't have anything for Christmas so I know that every year we hear that things for Christmas and then you see people shopping and shopping. I think when people are saying this year that they don't have monies they are being genuine and in fact we have seen that as we go around."

Jenny Lovell,
"Its wonderful."

KS: _You finished with all your shopping and everything?

Jenny Lovell,
"I am just starting today."

KS: _Why you waited so long?

Jenny Lovell,
"Cause I've been working so I know exactly where I am going and what I am getting."

Devon Bainton,
"I am not really done but I am getting there."

KS: _You think will be able to complete it in time?

Devon Bainton,
"Of course."

KS: _What's bad this year?

Shopper #1,
"No money no deh."

KS: _No money no deh? But I just see you just come from shop so money is being spent.

Shopper #1,
"This is not mine."

Shopper #2,
"I am not seeing it in like years gone by but you know I feel it in the air and I feel it in the music and I try to make the best of it."

Angela Gegg,
"I noh di feel Christmas yet to tell you the truth. I can't believe its going to be here in 2 days but you know if everybody gets together with family and friends then...oh and since cooking with the smoky mermaid I am definitely feeling Christmas in that sense."

And tune in tomorrow night when we will have Christmas shout-outs.
