It's that time of the year again and we're not talking about Christmas, it's time for the 2006 Belikin swimsuit calendar. The launch take place tonight at the Princess but we'll give you a first look at the 2006 Belikin girls right now. Miss December Katherine Greif Portillo stopped by our studios this evening and told us why being a Belikin girl makes her feel special.
Katharine Portillo, Miss December '06
"I think it's an honor. I know there are a lot of beautiful young ladies here in Belize and to have been chosen as one of the girls to be on this calendar is an honor. I'm glad to be here to represent Belikin and Belize at the same time. I think I came out pretty good. I know there are some other pictures that will be coming out on posters and I like those as well. Overall I think the girls look very beautiful, very beautiful; I'm impressed."
Shawn Menzies, Belize Brewing Company
"The girls will be autographing tonight at the Calypso at 7 o'clock so everybody come out and enjoy yourself. Everybody gets a free calendar and you can get it signed up from 7 until 12."
The calendars will be available next week.
