It's been a summer of music videos here on 7NEWS. We have shown you new videos from Glacius, Kendawg, and Ras Trans, all young men with big dreams of making it in the music industry. Tonight again we have another video to premiere and another young rapper for you to meet. He is 18 years old and he wants you to call him Bomb Kidd. He spends his nights at Wesley Junior College and his days recording music. Bomb Kidd is part of a collective called the "Fire Boyz" but for now he is solo. He has a mix tape coming out but before you hear Bomb Kidd on the radio you'll see him on TV. He stopped by our studios today with his new video for the song: "Fire Still Blazing."

Bomb Kidd,
“For the video he just pulled over to my house one day. I had this nice that I got from a guy in Belmopan. I told him to work on a song and so we sat down and I wrote the chorus and I wrote my verse and he came in with a verse. And then we went and recorded at Baghdad Studio and I said it sounded real tight. I said it could make a video and next thing we know, the video was done.

The mixtape is a compilation of different songs that I’ve wrote throughout my career as a musician, a hip hop artist. In most of the songs what I am addressing is things like in the ghetto where most people call it. I also address things like government, how the system is running. Nothing to promote violence or anything. It is just the real facts and reality of what we are living in right now.”

The mixtape titled "Linkup" will be released later this year.
