David Price was laid to rest today. At ceremonies held this afternoon in a packed Wesley Church the man on whom much faith was put on was laid to rest. Price was flown back from Cuba on Saturday after undergoing advanced medical treatment in that country. 55-year-old David Price was the father of five children: David Jr., Adrian, Eric, Aaron and Sharima. In offering the eulogy family friend David Gibson remembered price as a luminary of his time.

"Every society needs a David Price, a fearless defender of the constitutional rights of citizens, unrelenting the pursuit of justice and equality, fighting for the poor and down pressed, upholding the Christian principles of love of God and respect for all of mankind. He has set a standard and an example which in my humble view is worthy of emulation. His excellent chairmanship of the Commission of Inquiry into the Development Finance Corporation further exemplifies him."
And while Price is now at rest, his family is asking the public's assistance in helping them at a time of financial need.
