This morning 150 students from the standards 3 through 6 at Muslim Community Primary School weren't in class; they were at the Princess Hotel's movie theater. But they weren't banging hookey, they were there to see the Three Kings of Belize - a documentary about Belizean musical legends, Paul Nabor, Wilfred Peters and Florencio Mes. The special showing was arranged by NICH and facilitated by the Princess Cinema which set up the special screening and also provided nachos and popcorn to the children. Sakinah Mohammed of the Muslim School said it was an important opportunity.

Sakinah Mohammed,
"Education should be an ongoing process and we should make it as interesting as we can for the children. I was thinking primarily about the standard six students. I am very sure that this will not only be beneficial to them in terms of examination but in terms of life lessons for their own personal lives. I think it was a wonderful and excellent idea. It was so unpretentious, it was believable and I think the fact that it did not only highlight the high points of people's lives but the low, the middle point, and what kept these three men going. I think that it was very good that the movie made. I liked every part of it."

Yasser Musa, NICH President
"I want to say that this is not just the only school that will get to see the film because in the month of October, NICH is organizing a series of screenings for schools at the Bliss but this is the school that got the opportunity to see it first."

And after the Bliss showing, The Three Kings will go on the road to Mes' home village in San Pedro Colombia and Nabor's hometown in Punta Gorda.
