All Saint's Day is celebrated by the Catholic Church on the first of November - a day with deep cultural and religious significance. But last night there was no religion and no recognizable culture - just trick and treaters carousing through the streets - and the 7NEWS team was there with them. Keith Swift has the story.
Keith Swift Reporting,
Last night the streets of the city were overtaken by witches - both wicked and sexy; brides, pirates, and butterflies as the young - and the young at heart dressed the part as their favorite creatures and characters. And to have fun - you didn't need a costume - all you needed to know were those three magic words.

And while there were plenty of tricks and treats from most houses - they got a real treat at Stanley Lizama's house. He's been doing it for three years and this year he didn't disappoint with his ghost town.
Stanley Lizama,
"I got a treat for the kids. I have a set up like a real ghost town. If you could see you have the Dracula, you also have some tombstones on the other side, we also have the big spider, and we also have a dead man in a coffin here. I do this every year for the kids."
And fun was what last night was about for these kids I met at Lizama's house.
