They call themselves the Monster Empire and tonight three of the six members in the reggae collective are in Belize for what they say will be a monster concert. The concert will be at Cahal Pech in Cayo tomorrow but tonight three of those six members are in Belize City. The group’s leader is ghost and he stopped by our studios this afternoon along with General B and Chucky D. This is Ghost’s second trip to Belize and he says things will be different this time.
Ghost, Monster Empire
“Regardless of what happened in the past over here in Belize, Ghost is here right now with my family – Monster Empire – and we are here, we are going to perform for you. We are going to give you the 100. We are not going to be on stage for like 20 minutes, not like that. We are going to give you 100.”
[Short Performance]
Ghost, General B, and Chucky D will be joined by Roundhead, East Coast, and Rohan Rohan tomorrow.
