Their concert in April was postponed because of the swine flu scare, but the Morgan Heritage concert has been rescheduled to July 18th. And if you previously bought or won a Morgan Heritage ticket – the news tonight is that you should hold on to it. Previously, the organizers said that those tickets would be traded in for new ones, but not anymore. The promoters today announced that those tickets will still be valid. Ian Mariano explained.
Ian Mariano, Concert Organizer
“What we have decided as the committee was to clear up all the confusion and so we’re allowing people to keep their tickets. Those who want to keep their tickets can do that and those who want to purchase the tickets at $40.00. The promotional tickets – they can keep that. “
Keith Swift,
“How about those who won passes on the radio?”
Ian Mariano, Concert Organizer
“That’s what I’m saying, those are the giveaways, the red tickets are the giveaways and promotional tickets. Once you have those, whatever ticket you have that’s concerning Morgan Heritage, keep them. They’re good. We’re going to go as planned.”
Keith Swift
“Have you spoken to any of them, are they happy coming back? Are they looking forward to returning?”
Ian Mariano, Concert Organizer
“These guys they were looking forward to coming to Belize and they still are. You know the swine flu came, did it’s thing, had it’s effect, and you know that’s all in the past. These guys are excited, Grampa and everybody. You know we were speaking to Peter a little while ago and he’s excited. The group is excited, they’re rejuvenated, they’re looking forward to bringing something new and fresh to the City Center.”
