Belize is 40 years old and now you can read all the debates and deliberations that went into forming, framing and passing the Constitution that turned us from colony into nation.
It is an electronic reproduction of the record of all the house debates and the public consultation on the constitution which has been digitized and is now available online at the website of the national assembly at " nationalassembly.gov.bz ".
That was compiled by Yasser Musa and his Image Factory crew has also produced two defining art works that are on the display at the entrance to the National Assembly.
The first is a quilt called "Independence Da Everyday People" by Marcy Sabal and Kate Numi Usher, and the second is a flint stone sculpture called "Flint Humans by Anthony Rojo Vacarro Sr.
