Last week, we told you about a heroic Belizean nanny who saved a 1-year-old baby in the US. 52-year-old Arcellie Mushchamp was pushing the baby's stroller on the way to the park on December 20th when she was hit by a Dodge Ram Pickup Truck. She managed to push the stroller out of the way first, saving the baby from any harm. However, she had sustained massive brain injury and while her family was hopeful, she passed away around midday today. The news of her death has struck her family deeply, and her brother chose not to speak at this time. However, he had told us last Wednesday that she had been living in New York for about two decades and that taking care of children was her passion.

"We are originally from Punta Gorda, so Aracellie came up to Belize City, I think it was 1981. We went to school at Holy Redeemer and she went on to Pallotti High School, then in the 90's she migrated to New York, basically like 20 years she is doing nanny service over there"

"Is taking care of children something that she really enjoys doing?"

Tito Muschamp, Brother of Deceased
"Really loves. Thats her passion. She is the mother of 2 children too. Her oldest is 22, Razelle and Noah, 11."
"She's a very kind heart person, to me she was loved by many. There's a lot to say about her, she's really nice. She really cares a lot for kids, for she it was all about her kids and the kids she takes care of. So it really hurts, but it's life and it's kinda hard on us too because my mom just passed away the 11th of November."
Muschamp told us off camera that he is appreciative of everyone who donated to his sister's GoFundMe, and everyone who offered up a prayer.
