When Honduran guitarist Guayo Cedeno died suddenly on Friday night in Tegucigalpa at the age of 50 - his passing was only briefly noted by the cognoscenti of the Belize music scene. But, if you don't know Guayo Cedeno you surely know his music - his guitar Riffs have graced so many seminal recordings of Garifuna music on Stonetree records.

Guayo Cedeno's solo album "Coco Bar" - also produced by Ivan Duran, is available on all streaming services.
He died of serious respiratory complication due to a long standing auto-immune disorder. This happened two days after his wife Gaby had given birth to their son.
