But will this rapper-turned-politician eventually see himself on the big screen? We asked Shyne if there will be an inevitable Netflix biopic in his future, but he said that's just the start. He believes his story - which he says is also Belize's - is worth a fortune:

"To do a book, a biography, a memoir. To do all of these things. A TV series similar to Power or BMF, not narcos."

"But these are opportunities on the table for you. How do you prioritize these against your public responsibilities because these are things that will make you millions of dollars. Your story is worth millions of dollars."

"Yes, millions and millions of dollars."

"Yes but that story is not my story, that story is Belize's story, and when I tell that story, again it will be great capital for Belize and tourism."

"So how do you balance those things because right now the world is calling. You told me you don't have a publicist but you must have an agent, people are calling your agent, you're a hot property right now globally."

"Yes, and I will continue to be measured in my approach but my focus is village council, making sure that we win the village councils coming up."

"So you won't go to states next week to say I made it, I'm party leader."

"No, I was invited. You know, Inglewood has a very big Belizean population and Mayor Butts I believe it is, I was supposed to have a meeting with Mayor Butts but I have work to do so I am in the midst of getting myself out of that meeting right now because I have to be here for village council. I have to roll up my sleeve and get to work. This isn't profile, party leader isn't profile, party leader is deliver, and if I don't deliver the victories, and if I don't deliver the reform, I won't get to have the impact on society that I want."
