There was no clowning around during COVID - and no one got to know that better than Ozzie the Clown.
But, with regulations relaxed - Belize's premier clown is back with a magic and comedy special designed to delight the kids and the kid in you.
We stopped by the Bliss Center this afternoon to hear about the show from the performer and even got to see the animal stars of the upcoming production.

"Since the pandemic is making its way slowly going away I've noticed I've been hearing a whole lot of adult life coming back. I have nothing against the popular artists but there is nothing coming on for kids. I decided that I wanted to talk to somebody who has been sort of an inspiration in my life in helping me to put shows together at the Bliss and we;ve done a show at ICA that was almost like ten years ago so I approached Miss Kim here at the Bliss and she's like let's do it and i'm like (Funny sound) -Well let's do it. So we are planning to have this big show here on Saturday which will start at 7:00 PM and it's a family orientated show. It's for everybody, it's for you, me, you, everybody. Come out because you don't want to miss it. I will tell you it will be a grand time. We have to start it with a bang. We have to start it with a bang and in the future we plan to keep on doing things like this."
Kim Vasquez, Senior Program Director, ICA
"He has not been dormant during the pandemic. He did not waste time during the pandemic."
"He has been working on new magic so you can expect to see a whole new bag of tricks, even the magic bunny, even the traditional bunny will be on the stage, there will be birds there will be bunnies. No animals will be harmed. You can expect a bit of fire as well but it's all new material. All new laughs, new magic and it's fun for the entire family."
Ozzie goes on stage at 7:00 pm this Saturday June 25th at the Bliss Center.
