And Finally tonight, Albert street was lit up like a winter wonderland last night when Belize City Mayor, Bernard Wagner stepped up to the podium to officially launch the City's Christmas season.
His words were filled with inspiration and encouragement to citizens to pay it forward and help those citizens still struggling after hurricane Lisa.
Here's more from the mayor.
Bernard Wagner, Mayor Of Belize City
"It's truly a joyful time of the year, tonight's Christmas tree lighting marks the official start of the Belize City Council's Christmas activities. For most of us Christmas is one of the surest opportunities for families to get together right, to enjoy some laughter treat each other to gifts, and re-kindle that unbreakable love that connects us so that's why tonight I am thrilled to see so many families and friends out here with us tonight."

"Love and blessings are fantastic when we feel and enjoy them but even more precious when we create and share them with others, especially those I need, what better way to have a truly magical Christmas? As a symbol of gratitude, hope, peace, and goodwill towards men and all the happiness that Christmas brings it's time to count down to the big moment for tonight so I want to invite some kids to join me on stage here alright so we will start at the count of 10."
