And, finally tonight….Ashley Lightburn, she's Belize's delegate at this weekend's Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans. And our beauty ambassador made a fantastic showing in this week's preliminary competition. Last night she wowed the crowd - including a few Belizeans - with her swimsuit, national costume, and prelim evening gown presentations.
And as she gets ready to make the ultimate showing at this year's Olympics of beauty, she's counting on you for just a bit of help.
That's right, Belizeans can support Ashley by downloading the Miss Universe app and using their one free vote to help push the national delegate forward in the competition. Tonight is your last night to do so, so if you're an avid pageant watcher you'll want to jump on it pronto.
The Miss Universe pageant will be held in New Orleans on Saturday night, January 14th. You can watch it on cable or stream it live.
