And turning back now to our interview with police Commissioner Chester Williams, he took a moment today to comment on the passing of police inspector Graciano "Charro" Briceno, a good cop and all around great guy who has left the entire police department in mourning.

Here's what the COMPOL said about Charro's competitive streak and why his colleagues will miss him dearly.

Jules Vasquez:
"You made a post yesterday about the well-loved inspector of police Graciano Briceno speak to us about him."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Yeah, Charro, just to think about him brings a smile to my face, to remember the personality that he had is refreshing, a very big guy but a humble guy, Charro was well-loved by everybody who came into contact with him and recently he was posted as the police liaison officer in the free zone and the border so he was in charge of the border, the northern border and the free zone police operations where he did good work and now he is gone that is a huge void left that they have to find adequate people to fill and the police department is going to miss Charro. He was like I said a big fella but don't be

fooled by his size. I saw Charro running down men and catching them when he would go to training school on courses and they do PT, Charro never shy away or hide from PT exercise and when it was time to run he would challenge the slim guys to run and believe you me he beat some of them right so that size didn't keep him back at all."

"For me he was a friend, he was a colleague and I certainly will miss him, just like the other members of the department who are in contact and knew him personally."
