And while the quality is low right now - spirits remain high after an arduous negotiate on where the farmers feel like they did make some progress. On Monday Night at 11:00 after they left the negotiating room at the Yo Creek Agricultural Station, en route to SIRDI to inform their members. Ortega says the farmers were overjoyed:

Alfredo Ortega, BSCFA Chairman

"We thought you would have followed us back to SIRDI compound because we had to go and report to our farmers. That is why we didn't stop I saw you were flagging me down and calling me, but we did not stop because we had to go and report to our farmers and we thought you would have followed us to SIRDI but nevertheless we went through to the situation we had. I think the face-to-face was one of the best options that was decided to and we ironed out at least what we were asking for having the presence of our lawyer on which kudos to her. Ms Magali and our team and that is how we got through to what we were looking for in regards to having the document as we agreed on Thursday with the Prime Minister and his team before we reached to what happened on Monday."

"I cannot explain the amount of joy that our farmers demonstrated that night when we saw because we had the document in hand to show them that yes, it is the document that has been signed and we are covered now under the BSCFA."
