The national library service through the Leo Bradley library today held its annual book fair. Fittingly enough, today is being celebrated as international literacy day and organizer Keisha Zelaya says that the fair is held to increase awareness among young children about the importance of books and of reading.
Keisha Zelaya - Organizer
“We are having an open day book fair promoting books and the library.”
Q: “Why are you doing this?”
“We are doing this to bring out the kids to let them know about the library and how good books are to them and let them celebrate books and let them enjoy reading most of al And let them know that books are the way. I mean today all the kids are looking at TV and going on the internet when everything is in the books.”
