Valentine's Day is next week Tuesday and along with it will come the flowers, chocolate, and kisses. Well this year the National Library Service wants to add reading to that list. The Valentine's fun day will be held tomorrow at the Leo Bradley Library. Librarian Lusiola Castillo explains.

Lusiola Castillo, Librarian - Leo Bradley Library
"We're trying to encourage children to come into the library and see what we offer, what services we offer, and in that regard we are trying to bring in the Valentine feeling into effect so children will know what Valentine is all about, how it started, and what is it that they expect to see. They'll be doing arts and craft, a Valentine's story will be read for them, and depending on how they receive that information, they'll be depicting their arts and craft based on that.

It is important because children need to know to love, feel appreciated, and if they feel that they are appreciated, in turn they will appreciate others and then this world won't have all that crime and all that thing that is occurring that isn't good for the development of our country."

The fun begins at 10 am and ends at mid-day. They will only cater to children between the ages of 6 and 12.
