The results of the 2007 Primary School Examination were released today. While the results are again, not good there is some reason to be encouraged. First, the bad news: the average national score is 56%, a dismal failure.

But the good news is that the average score in three of the four subjects has shown marked increase, nationally, the average score in English has gone up from 52% to 60%; in science it's gone up from 54% to 59.4%; and in social studies from 57.8% to 59.4%. In math, there has been a negligible increase from 45.7% to 45.8%.
