458 students attend St. John's Anglican Primary School and the 120 who eat lunch at school will now eat in the comfort of an outdoor canteen. Thirteen students from Bridgewater State College in Boston built the canteen and the school bought most of the materials. At a cost of 12 thousand dollars it doesn't sound like much but Sherie Garcia who is a teacher says it will make a difference.

Sherie Garcia,
"Most of students do eat at school during the normal lunch hour so having this outside canteen will be of great help to the teachers as well because they can monitor the children, they have some where to sit and to enjoy a nice meal. We do have a feeding program and currently we have a hundred and twenty students enrolled in the feeding program. In the afternoon during 11:30 we have a canteen downstairs and with the help of the feeding program, the canteen that is there, they can now eat and enjoy their meal as well."

The outdoor canteen can seat 60 students.
