School is back in session. And while the phased re-opening means that online learning is still the countrywide norm many kids are already having to re-adjust to the classroom and the schoolyard.

Case in point Matteo Castillo Alameda, a 13-year old autistic student at Horizon academy. He returned to class yesterday but faces unique challenges such as hyperactivity and social regression that make it difficult for him to re-adjust.

Still, he's pushing ahead, and this morning Mom Christy showed us a typical school day with Matteo. Just one family's take on the post-Covid-return to school.
