And while those families deal with the loss of their loved ones, another family is thankful no one was hurt in a freak storm on Sunday in San Victor. Juan Adolpho Cal told our colleagues at CTV3 that he heard his roof flying off of his home, and quickly got his family out. But they were unable to save anything else. The chairman is now working with NEMO and the Ministry of Human Development to help them and others affected by the storm.

Juan Adolfo Cal, Victim of Freak Storm

(TRANSLATED) "The other day, we were resting and when the rain started, we heard the wind blowing strong and I told my wife get the kids ready because the zinc looks like it will fall. When we heard beam broke, and then I told her let's go out because the zinc is flying. While we were going out, everything fall one by one and we went out under the rain with my kids. We went to the neighbors to pass the rain. That's how we got out but everything got wet, the bed, everything, important papers got wet. Like I always say, material things can be replaced but our lives cannot, my kids, thank god everything went good. No one got hurt. Just the zinc that got twisted. Some people from the church came and saw us and we'll see what will happen in the future."

"No one from NEMO but supposedly they would come that's what we're waiting for, to see what we talk about, they helping me."

"I would really want to repair the house or to see who can help me with it because I am thinking that little house won't last with another strong wind. I would like to repair it as soon as possible."

Jose Guteirrez, Vice Chairman, San Victor
"We have five families affected, that the roof get away from the house. And they don't find their roof because they go far from the village."

"We are working together to help the villagers with something that they can stand up again because they lost everything. I work together with NEMO and Human Development as we construct a beautiful village."

"In this time it's the first time that this happen in San Victor. I think they appreciate what we gonna do because we gonna help them to find the way we can help them and trying to help them to come out again because they lost everything."
