Ministry Tells Athletes To Get Vaccinated

And in the sport world, the Belize Athletic Association is encouraging all athletes 18 years and older to get vaccinated. According to a release, there were a number of major international competitions that were halted in 2020 because of the pandemic. But now that sports are slowly reopening across the globe, there are a number of events that Belizean athletes are expected to attend. Some of these host countries are requiring that members of the contingents be vaccinated or be subjected to quarantine upon arrival in the country. Because of this, the BAA is asking any athletes who is eligible for the vaccine to visit their nearest vaccination center and get that jab.
